​Jessica has been nanny to our son & daughter for nearly 5 years. It would be impossible to overstate how wonderful the experience has been for our entire family.
 

It's easy to take the little things for granted when hiring short-term babysitting/child-care. But when someone works with your children day-in & day-out, they really stand out. Things like being punctual--the kids' days are always full of activity (pre-school, soccer, gymnastics, etc.) and Jess always manages to get them to everything on time and with no drama!
 

Also, keeping the kids engaged, and keeping things fresh. No matter what season it is, their days are always chock full of interesting activities. Games, craft projects, reading, music, costume parties- we never hear the word "bored"!
 

After 5 years of spending their days with her, our kids are polite, smart, confident, and happy-- and we owe a great deal of it to Jessica. Simply cannot recommend her strongly enough.

Jess has been caring for my two boys (now almost 3.5 and 2 years) for about 1.5 years, and is just simply the best! She always shows up on time and prepared with ideas for an activity or adventure, makes sure the kids have plenty of opportunities to be out and about in the community (including swim lessons!) and most importantly has clearly been fostering a sense of kindness and confidence in the children, as well as new traditions for our family. Jess has traveled with us and helped with the boys during a busy wedding, never phased by any challenges that popped up or overnight care. Jess is like family to us and we're lucky to have her!

Jessica cared for our children while we were in town for a wedding. She came highly recommended and I can see why. Jessica recently babysat for us during our week long stay in Lake George. From the moment she met the kids, she was engaging and fun. She brought activities and toys for them every day. She left great notes on a timeline indicating what the kids did while we were gone and took several pictures and sent them to us each day. we felt so comfortable leaving our kids in her hands. We hired Jess to watch our 3 children (4 month old, 3 year old, & 5 year old) at my brother's wedding near Lake George. She was amazing! I was a little nervous because I had never hired someone directly off care.com and in another location, but it ended up being the best decision! Jess was very communicative in the days leading up to the event. She came early, with a whole bag of toys and crafts, and she kept my children entertained and happy for the entire wedding. She was high energy, responsible, engaging, trustworthy and FUN- the kids had the absolute best time with her. My husband and I were able to actually relax and enjoy the wedding. She took initiative-- setting up the baby's temporary room and gathering all my stuff together at the end of the night. She really did it all- feeding, playing, bathroom breaks, making sure the older two ring bearers were where they needed to be. I cannot recommend her enough and I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Nanny Jess has watched my 4-year old son on numerous occasions. She is very punctual, professional and reliable. She also brings interesting art projects that the two of them would complete during their time together. She made sure to get exercise time in by bringing my son to the playground and to his activities. She also kept him occupied by playing board games with him and other age appropriate activities. Jessica has been watching our two boys (currently ages 4 and 6) for the past 3 years. She is energetic, organized, caring, dependable...basically everything you would want in a babysitter. We were new to the area, and it was such a relief to meet Jess. Our kids absolutely adore her! She has watched them evenings, full days, and even overnight! She is creative and actively engages them in activities and projects. There is always a list written out of meals, activities, etc. so we are in the loop of all of the important details of the day! I hired Jessica about 20 years ago as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the Glens Falls YMCA. Over the years, Jessica has taught many children's swim lessons as well as water fitness classes.
 

Jessica has been a big part of my family and my life. When my daughter, who is in her mid 20's, was in elementary school, she had Jessica as a swim instructor and really enjoyed the classes. She even took recertification lifeguard classes with Jessica later on. Jessica now instructs water fitness classes for adults and subs for my water fitness classes occasionally. She really gives my classes a great workout.

We interviewed Jessica and two days later on short notice she watched my 3 year old son. She came about an hour before his bedtime and brought a quick craft for them to do together. They also played with some puzzles, danced, and had a little glow stick party! She seamlessly moved through his nighttime routine getting him to bed on time. If we lived in this area Jessica would be our full time nanny. She sat for us a month or two ago and our son (21 months and 7 months) does not like most people but when he saw her again he didn't even cry when we left. That's HUGE! Finding a new babysitter in a strange town can be daunting and a little bit scary. We were in Lake George for a wedding, and the weekend included not just the ceremony and reception but an additional night of getting together--which meant we needed not one but two nights of babysitting. That made it extra-important we found someone we could trust with our three-month old girl. Happily, we found that person. Jessica was super-communicative in advance of our trip, then showed up to our hotel (hello, Tiki Resort!) early and prepared. She brought age-appropriate toys and flashcards and a palpable enthusiasm for spending time our daughter. She was flexible with our schedule (in case things ran long, or in case we ended up needing her early the second day), and welcomed all three of us with a friendly, warm attitude, even volunteering to spotlight local events we might enjoy as a family. Jessica texted us regular updates while were away (at our request), and we come home to a happy, sleeping baby on both nights. Best of all, she hand wrote a witty, detailed log of her night with baby-something we will be able to enjoy for years to come. We recommend Jessica with enthusiasm.

I cannot say any bad things about her! She was available on short notice. She came for an interview the same day I contacted her and babysat our two boys two nights later. We came home to a clean house, and clean sleeping kids! She made a detailed  list of everything they did together for the whole night and texted me pictures and updates throughout our date night. Nanny Jess has been our travel nanny several times, and we’d re-hire her again in a heartbeat! Our first experience with Jess was for 5 weeks when she cared for our then almost 2 year old. She had developmental activities planned for him in advance, but also went with the flow and used the beach as a learning experience.
