On top of my extensive experience with a myriad of families, I am a 20+ year active Lifeguard, Newborn Care Specialist, Pediatric Sleep Consultant, Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and have over 20 years Teaching experience as a Children's Progressive Swim Instructor. I have a strong focus on professional development thru continuing education within the field of childcare. Current background check available.

 

I began my career as a Full Time Nanny in Upstate NY in 2013 and now work exclusively as a Short Term/Temp Nanny and a Professional Travel Nanny. It has been an amazing journey! Oh the Places You'll Go! I also nanny for special events including Wedding Services and occasional needs.

 

As a volunteer and youth advocate, I continue to build on several years of leadership, youth guidance and family experience. I was a 20+ year lifeguard at the Glens Falls YMCA and have previously taught children's progressive swim lessons and aquatic fitness. This opportunity has given me a strong leadership and motivational skill set as well as an excitement to help others achieve their very best. My teaching experience at the YMCA has allowed me to initiate new fitness programs as well as retain member participation in ongoing programs. The best joy for me when caring for children is to see the children excel in their abilities, behaviors, personal growths and milestones. I’m usually the one jumping up and down right along with Mom and Dad!

 

I was employed full time for 8 years with an events management company, therefore I am very eager and creative when it comes to planning activities and often source out the local community for events that provide cultural enrichment, physical activity and social interaction.

 

I have a strength in lesson planning, activity cultivation and focused attention in all temporary and permanent settings. My most recent position focused significantly on educational values. Throughout the span of this position, I excelled in pre-planning and scheduling activities to create and stimulate development, growth and socialization within my charges.

I was raised in an All-American Family with a strong focus on Traditional Core Family Values, Community Service, Volunteerism and Cultural Experiences. I am an "AUNTIE" to four boys and a Big Sister to three siblings. I am very athletic and fit. I enjoy various daily fitness activities, swimming and cycling competitively. You can describe me as being a "Big Kid at Heart", often showing my enthusiasm for life by having just as much fun as the children. This enthusiasm for the simple pleasures in life has made me a favorite role model amongst many little ones.
