Cancellation Policy

Policy Updated: November 25, 2018

Effective June 1, 2018, I will be implementing a cancellation policy that correctly reflects the National Industry for a Professional Nanny.

  • Any needed cancellation 3-7 days prior to the commitment, will be charged an inconvenience fee: 50% of the scheduled hours, as it is unlikely that I will be able to re-book that date. After the 3rd cancel, the caregiver reserves the right to not offer Occasional Services.

  • Any needed cancellation up to 48 hours prior to the commitment will be charged an inconvenience fee in the full amount 100% of the scheduled hours. After the 3rd cancel, the caregiver reserves the right to not offer Occasional Services.

  • NO charge for cancellations with at least 1 week notice.

  • Travel, Extended Overnight Care Opportunities, Special Event Services. Any needed cancellation must be made 3 weeks prior to the scheduled dates to allow for rescheduling. Once services are confirmed and the agreement has been signed by all parties, a non-refundable deposit in the amount of 1/3 the total due (rounded up to the 100th) will be required. The deposit will be applied to the total balance. Only in the event the Nanny is unable to fulfill the commitment, at the fault of their own, are you eligible for a full refund of the deposit. After the 3rd cancel or reschedule, the caregiver reserves the right to not offer Travel, Extended Overnight Care or Special Event Services.
